Read the chart before you interpret it.
Use a fictional example to practise finding the Moon sign and nakshatra. The exercise separates a calculated position from the meaning someone gives it.
1. Choose a fictional example
Use 1 January 1990, 12:00 noon, London, United Kingdom. Everyone can compare the same chart without sharing personal birth details.
2. Calculate the chart
Open the free birth chart calculator. Enter the example date, time and city. Select London from the city suggestions, then calculate.
3. Write down what the result says
Record the Moon sign, Moon nakshatra and ascendant. Keep the labels and numbers separate from the interpretation.
4. Change one input
Move the example birth time forward by one hour and calculate again. Which fields changed? Which stayed the same? Do not assume that every field must change.
5. Compare settings before comparing answers
