A note from the founder

I built Vedara because I couldn't find one clear answer.

I was sceptical about astrology. I was also fascinated by what Vedic astrology might reveal about timing, purpose and the patterns we keep living through.

So I did what developers do when the right tool does not exist: I started building it.

How it started

I was looking for guidance. I found a maze.

At first, I simply tried to find an astrologer. Some of the people recommended to me were booked for months. Others gave me very different, sometimes conflicting, interpretations. I did not know what to trust.

I am a developer by nature, so the answer felt natural. Build an app that can hold the calculations, preserve the interpretive knowledge and use AI to translate complex astrological language into plain English.

Vedara began as something I wanted to use myself — a calm, consistent way to check the day before stepping into it.

What sits underneath

The engine calculates. AI explains.

Vedara first runs reproducible chart calculations, then uses AI to explain traditional astrological interpretations in everyday language. The calculation is fixed for the same inputs; generated wording can vary and should be treated as reflective context.

The idea I return to

A weather forecast for life.

Some days call for an umbrella. Some days are made for your prettiest shoes.

A forecast does not control the weather, and astrology does not control your choices. It gives you context — so you can prepare, notice the conditions and decide how you want to meet the day.

You do not have to believe. You can simply observe.

Start with your own chart, see what Vedara notices and decide whether the guidance feels useful in your real life.
