How the daily timing dashboard works
The dashboard pulls today’s actual planetary positions from a live ephemeris and translates them into a simple energy score out of ten, plus four dimension scores: focus, communication, relationships, and action. It is not a horoscope written in advance; the numbers come from what the sky is doing right now, recalculated each day.
Two conditions drive most of the variation. The first is the void-of-course Moon: the stretch after the Moon makes its last major aspect in a sign and before it enters the next one. Classical astrology treats this window as poor for launching anything new, so when it is active the dashboard lowers the overall score and the focus rating. The second is retrogrades. Mercury retrograde drags down the communication score because it is the textbook period for misread emails, delays, and crossed wires. Venus retrograde softens the relationship score, and Mars retrograde cuts the action score, since both planets govern those domains when moving direct.
Reading the result is straightforward. A high overall score with strong dimension ratings means the universal weather supports steady progress: sign things, send things, start things. A low score is not a doom warning; it simply suggests pointing the day at review, planning, and routine work instead of high-stakes launches. The dimension breakdown tells you where the friction sits, so a Mercury-retrograde day can still be excellent for physical work even while contracts and negotiations deserve extra care.
One honest caveat: this score describes sky-level conditions, so it is identical for everyone on Earth today.
